women's fav place

Salam Alaik.

Yesterday, my friends and I went to Sarikin. Sarikin is such a shopping paradise to women out there and of course not for the men a.k.a the banker, heheh. It only open during weekend. I planned to go there last few weeks, dealing with my housemate Cynthia who is Sarawakian and she stay here, in Kuching. So, she agreed to be my personal tourist guide since I didn't know how to get there. I rented a car for a halfday. We went there with 3 cars, 2 cars followed Cynthia's dad's car. Our journey took more or less 1 hour. I'm not sure the exact time we took to get there. I advise you not to bring your new car to Sarikin because the road full of holes here and there.
outfit of that day

At 11 a.m, we arrived at  the destination. Seeing the goods make our jaw drop. My friends was like " Woahh, cantiknya kain, cantiknya mat, cantiknya hat", hahah. Girls, haih. Then, that was the time we started to contribute to Sarikin's economic development, heheh. They sell a lot of things such as jubah/abaya, telekung, tudung, trendy clothes, bags, hat, kain pasang, kain pasang for the bride, kitchen tool etc. Actually, I wanted to buy some jubah/abaya for my sis and my mom. Almost all of the goods there come from Indonesia. The quality of the goods and clothes not that bad, or should I say good in quality. But the price of the goods very very very cheap. Seriously no lie.

I got the abayas below MYR70 and I still could negotiate the price. One of my friends was hardly to believe they could sell the clothes with very low price. Some of the seller sell the abaya for MYR45 and I was like "what??are you kidding me pakcik...why sooo cheap..and I got one for myself..hehe
Other than that, I bought a travel telekung for myself and it costs only MYR25. My friends, Syira and Siti bought very nice telekung for their mum.

this is how the place looks like, macam madmarket kot

1.00p.m, we were about running out of money, hahah. Then we decided to back home. On our way back home, we stopped by the Petronas to withdraw some money, buy some snacks and perform Zuhr' prayer. Then it was raining. As we arrived Desa Ilmu (DI) which is not far from Unimas, we were searhing for a restaurant. We needed to find some food for our starve tummy. and we decided to go to SCR Restaurant. I don't know what S is stands for, but C and R stand for chicken rice. After finishing our meals, we went home with happy tummy :)
